The project consists of furnishing labor, material, and equipment for the JCC Public Safety Complex Phase I project for Johnston Community College. The general scope includes tree clearing, site demolition, erosion control, asphalt and concrete paving, parking lot reconfiguration, a 600' x 600' concrete driving pad, driveways, grading and drainage, curb and gutter, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and landscaping. Site lighting will be leased and installed through the Town of Smithfield. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid security in cash, certified check, or Bid Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount are required. Compliance with County of Johnston MBE policies and the North Carolina Statute 143-128.2 (c) is required. The submission of a bid constitutes certification regarding the Iran Divestment Act. Johnston Community College reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Every request for such interpretation should be addressed in writing to the Design Consultant with a copy forwarded to the Owner. C.
