Site work for a civil project in Smithfield, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: 1. Demolition and Replacement of PS No. 11 2. Abandonment of existing 8-inch gravity sewer and installation of 16-inch gravity sewer from Ex. SSMH No. 2A to SSMH No. 7, totaling approximately 1,153 LF, which includes 326 LF of 30" Steel Encasement with 16-inch gravity sewer by bore and jack under I-95. 3. Installation of 16-inch gravity sewer from Ex. SSMH No. 2017 to Ex. SSMHA No. 2A, totaling approximately 309 LF of sewer. The last day for questions is March 25, 2026. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages bidding by small, minority and female contractors and does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status. Bids from qualified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) are encouraged. Pre-Bid Meeting 03/17/2026 at 2:00 PM The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract.
