Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bucyrus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all material and equipment and performing all labor required for the City of Bucyrus - 2026 Street Improvements. The work must be done in accordance with plans and specifications that can be obtained from the Engineer's office. Only bids from bidders who have obtained plans and specifications from the designated source will be accepted. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a surety company licensed in Ohio. Proposals must include the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project is to be completed no later than September 30, 2026. Contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable and comply with equal opportunity requirements. The successful bidder must furnish a surety bond for 100% of the contract amount as guarantee for performance and completion. The minimum wage paid must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked for the project and signed by all interested parties. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will accept the lowest and best acceptable bid.
