Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bucyrus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bidding proposals are invited for the road reconstruction and resurfacing of Scioto Chapel Road in Bucyrus Township, Crawford County, Ohio, totaling approximately 1.71 miles. The work includes Pavement Planning (Item 254, 4" depth), Asphalt Concrete Base (Item 301), Asphalt Concrete (Item 441), Tack Coat (Item 407), and Linear Grading (Item 209), as per specified contract. Partial funding is provided by an Issue 2 grant through the Ohio Public Works Commission, and the contractor will be paid directly for that portion. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid or a bond for the full amount of the bid, payable to the Bucyrus Township Trustees in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Prevailing wage rates have been predetermined and are set forth by the Ohio Department of Commerce. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, or accept the most favorable proposal.
