Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in George West, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project includes the demolition and removal of an old pipe bridge on Live Oak County Road 241 and its replacement with a 26-foot by 26-foot concrete bridge, 8 inches thick, featuring three culverts (36 inches X 40 feet). The scope also involves the build-up and slopes for culvert placement at a thickness of 4 inches, and the construction of two concrete piers to strengthen the bridge. Number 4 rebar is to be used throughout the construction. The culvert pipe will be supplied by the County and its cost should not be included in the bid.
