The project consists of a single work scope for all of the work necessary for the construction of the Perham High School Tennis Courts as described within the bidding documents. Each bidder must submit a bid on the prescribed form, including a bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid. The bid must be fully completed, signed by an authorized representative, and state all base and alternate bids in both words and figures. Alternate prices for increases or decreases in cost must also be submitted. The owner may investigate the qualifications and responsibility of the bidder and reserves the right to accept or reject bids, accept any combination of alternates, and waive minor irregularities. Contractors must visit the site, review all bidding documents, and are responsible for their own investigations into the work required. Upon award, the contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract sum. No extra compensation will be given for misunderstandings regarding the scope of work or site conditions.
