Charlotte Water (CLTWater) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering companies to provide Construction Administration & Inspection Miscellaneous Services for the Mallard Creek WWRF Solids Handling Improvement Project. The latest phase of the project includes a condition assessment and an optimization and reliability study, with identified improvements documented in a preliminary engineering report. Final designs are completed, and construction is anticipated to be bid in the summer of 2026. Construction elements include solids treatment components such as spiral heat exchangers, recirculation pumps, sludge transfer pumps, feed pumps, hot water feed pumps, gas treatment, a new waste biogas flare, a new e-house, a new boiler building and boilers, and digester building improvements including trench drains, doors, guardrails, handrails, hoist, concrete repairs, HVAC, water piping, and vents.
