Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o 270 LF of Sewer Main Replacement with pile supports o 4 sewer lateral replacement o Asphalt roadway repair with a grind and overlay Bids must be in a sealed envelope labelled with the project name and bid number and will be received in the locked drop box outside of the doors on the first floor of City Hall, 450 110th Avenue NE, until 10:00 AM on the date specified. Bidders must clearly mark the project name and bid number on the outside of the envelope. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited. Plans and Specifications for This Project Are Available Online at Builders Exchange at Online All documents pertaining to this project will be available at the Builder's Exchange of Washington, Inc. website or at the City of Bellevue's website. Builder's Exchange will manage the official plan holders list and notification to those on the list of any and all addenda related to this project. Bids documents and addenda will also be posted to the Public Purchase website. Addenda may not be available or updated on any other website other than through the official plan holders list. Supplemental Responsible Bidder Criteria will apply to this project and are included in the Special Contract Information section. Bidders may request in writing that the City modify the supplemental criteria in a timely manner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder must comply with the City of Bellevue equal opportunity requirements. Engineer's Estimate Range is $700,000 to $940,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
