Architectural and engineering indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity services to support maintenance, repair, and improvement of navigation locks, structures, and facilities operated by the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Services may include reconnaissance and planning; preparation of designs, reports, specifications, and drawings using AutoCAD or compatible formats; on-site inspection of construction in progress; and project management and oversight. Task orders may vary widely in size and complexity and may require short lead times. The contractor shall provide multidisciplinary architectural and engineering capabilities, either in-house or through consultants, including civil, structural, mechanical, environmental, electrical, electronic, architectural, surveying, and occupational health and safety expertise. Anticipated work areas include paving and drainage; concrete and steel structures; marine structures such as locks, dams, pile structures, wharves, and mooring cells; HVAC; sanitary and fire protection systems; electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems; environmental compliance and energy efficiency; electrical power distribution; electronic equipment and controls; and construction and topographic surveying. Projects may involve single or multiple disciplines and will be evaluated based on specialized experience and technical competence, professional qualifications, geographic knowledge, past performance, and capacity to perform within required timeframes.
