Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Sidney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Sidney Municipal Landfill is requesting bids for constructing the Cell 3/5 Liner and Leachate Collection System. The project goal is to construct Cell 3/5 in compliance with all local, State, and Federal requirements, and in compliance with the design and specifications approved by the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment and in compliance with the Contract Documents. Excavation, structural fill, subgrade preparation, anchor trench excavation/backfilling, geosynthetics installation (geosynthetic clay, geomembrane, geotextile) sump rock placement, granular drainage layer placement, protective soil placement, protective plywood placement, temporary termination berm construction, and stormwater management are all components of the construction and must be conducted in accordance with these requirements. The City of Sidney will contract with one General Contractor to provide all the required services to complete this construction.
