Demolition and environmental remediation for an educational facility in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
1.1 This is a "Construction Manager Project" for which The Christman Company is the "Construction Manager" For this portion of this project the successful bidders will become "Trade Contractors" and will enter into "Trade Contracts" with the Construction Manager. The Construction Manager will administer separate Trade Contracts for all Work Categories involved in the project. The project will be controlled, coordinated, and scheduled by the Construction Manager on behalf of the Owner. 1.2 Provisions shall be such that the Trade Contractor will assume the Construction Manager's obligations to the Owner for the portion of the work performed by each Trade Contractor. 1.3 Proposals: Separate proposals for the Work Categories included in this phase of the construction will be received by the Construction Manager. The time and place where proposals shall be received and a listing of the Work Categories included in this phase of the work are included in the Advertisement for Bids. All questions are to be directed to projects@lansingschools.net. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All pre-bid RFI's must be submitted by May 12th, 2026, at 5pm. Project No.P26-01432 This project involves the demolition and abatement of the Sheridan Rd Elementary school.
