The work consists of a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Single Award Task Order Contract for the rehabilitation, maintenance, repair, and minor construction of roadways and associated grounds at the Oahe Dam Project. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and management necessary to execute task orders issued under the contract. Individual task orders may include earthwork and excavation, installation of geotextile fabric, cold milling of bituminous pavement, asphalt crack sealing, aggregate base course supply and installation, chip seal and fog seal applications, concrete pavement construction ranging from four to six inches in depth including curb and gutter, full-depth reclamation of asphalt pavement, pavement marking and paint application for shoulders, centerlines, parking areas, stop lines, and handicap symbols, seeding and installation of erosion control blankets, and installation of storm drainage piping. The scope also includes development and implementation of a stormwater pollution prevention plan, construction staking for grades, and maintenance of traffic while performing work on or adjacent to roadways. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and haul agreements for state and local routes. Work is limited to normal business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no work permitted on weekends. Task orders will be issued throughout the three-year contract period with defined performance durations, and provisions may include liquidated damages. Performance and payment bonds are required for individual task orders exceeding $25,000, and quantities and pricing may vary based on evolving maintenance needs over the life of the contract.
