Ambridge PJ Caul Memorial Park Sealed proposals are requested for the P.J. Caul Memorial Park - Development project for furnishing labor, materials, and performing all work set forth in the advertisement, general conditions, drawings, and specifications. The project includes park improvements to the existing PJ Caul Park, including site grading, paving, and limited utility work to connect with streetscape improvements for Merchant Street. Bidders are to submit price proposals for the construction shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. All work, materials, and submittals must conform to the contract documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or surety company bid bond equal to at least ten percent of the contract amount, payable to Ambridge Borough. Minimum wage rates for all workers shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates. Upon contract award, a 100% performance bond, 100% payment bond, and 10% maintenance bond are required. Bids must be sealed, marked "P.J. Caul Memorial Park - Development," and submitted to the specified address. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening of bids. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive irregularities as deemed advantageous.
