Work under this Contract shall also include, but not necessarily be limited to: .1 Surface preparation of substrates as required for acceptance of paint, including cleaning, small crack repair, patching, caulking, and making good surfaces and areas to the limits defined under MPI Repainting Manual Preparation requirements. .2 Specific pre-treatments noted herein or specified in the MPI Repainting Manual. .3 Sealing / priming surfaces for repainting in accordance with MPI Repainting Manual requirements including, but not limited to: GWB, Fiberglass Reinforced Wall Coverings, Wood, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals, Donnacona Panels and Tiles .4 Provision of safe and adequate ventilation as required over and above temporary ventilation supplied by others, where toxic and/or volatile / flammable materials are being used. .5 Moisture testing, air and surface temperature, Ph tests Include all incidental items not specifically noted above but considered part of the finished surface. Refer to drawings and schedules (e.g., Finish Schedule) for type, location and extent of interior repainting required scheduled or specified. This Section along with the Finish Schedule forms part of the Contract documents and is to be read, interpreted and coordinated with all other parts. Division 0, and Division 1, General Requirements form an integral part of this Section of Work. The Painting Contractor shall refer to these and all other related parts.
