Site work for a water / sewer project in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Install 4,761 LF of HDD HDPE water main with additional fittings and valves. If you plan on bidding and are not already on the approved bidders list for this project, you are required to fill out the Plan Holders Submittal Form located on the City website. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build all the improvements in accordance with this notice and give bond in the sum hereinafter provided for the construction of improvements. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening of bids without the consent of the City of Hastings for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of closing bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 3-Year Maintenance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award. No additional time will be allowed the Contractor for providing the Maintenance Bond.
