The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to perform electrical maintenance and repair services as requested. Work must be performed in a thorough, safe, and professional manner, consistent with industry standards and applicable regulations. The work includes, but is not limited to: placing, installing, erecting, or connecting any electrical wires, fixtures, appliances, apparatus, conduits, solar photovoltaic cells, or any part thereof; repairing electrical panels, lighting circuits, motor control centers, VFD panels, and other equipment at water and sewer facilities; and troubleshooting of all MCC, relay logic, and timer circuits. Services shall be provided on an “as needed” time and materials basis, with the ability to mobilize within 24 hours or as requested. All work shall meet professional standards and applicable specifications such as Cal-OSHA and Public Works Construction standards. The Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel and is required to correct deficiencies within specified timeframes. The Contractor is also responsible for maintaining work sites free of hazards, obtaining all necessary permits, and providing traffic control as needed. Receipts are required for materials procured, and MSWD reserves the right to specify materials and require preapproval for purchases. The Contractor shall also ensure an English-speaking person is onsite for each project and respond to emergencies within two hours of notification. Proposals must be organized as specified and submitted electronically. The proposal must include a cover letter, project understanding, company information, personnel qualifications, references, and a billing schedule with hourly rates.
