Site work for a mixed-use development in Morinville, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Town of Morinville is inviting qualified contractors to submit tenders for its 2026 neighbourhood rehabilitation program. The project consists of deep utility work, improvements to surface infrastructure (road rehabilitation, including concrete work) and parking lot rehabilitation (asphalt and lighting). This project is to be completed in 2026. Generally, the work includes, but is not limited to the following: Site preparation and management, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control measures and delineation of work zones. Spot replacement of 200mm Ø sanitary sewer and 450mm Ø storm sewer (incl. connections and temporary bypass setup, maintenance, and disconnection). Installation of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining system (using City of Edmonton specifications) for 200mm Ø sanitary sewer and 450mm Ø storm sewer. Replacement of existing catch basins, manholes, and catch basin manholes (incl. leads and connections). Water main infrastructure inspections to determine necessary repairs, providing probable cost estimates for repairs, and spot replacements of mainline (incl. connections and temporary water servicing setup, maintenance, and decommissioning) (PROVISIONAL) Saw cutting, removal, and disposal of existing hard surfacing materials. Removal and disposal of existing soft surfacing materials. Fine grading and preparation of subgrade, including cement stabilization. Placement of concrete works, including curb and gutter, separate walks, curb ramps, swales, and private crossings, driveways, and connector walks. Placement of road structure, gravel base course, and asphalt pavement. Asphalt milling and overlay of existing roadways at tie-in locations. Adjustment of manholes, catch basins, and valves to match surface elevations. Supply and placement of topsoil and sod over disturbed areas, and trees/ Coordination of work with shallow utility companies and others (GFL, residents, Town, etc.). 107 Street and 104 Street Mill and Overlay (Exhibit A) work is included as part of the Neighbourhood Rehabilitation Program 2026 tender.
