Sealed bids are invited for furnishing materials and performing labor for the Water Line Replacement on the campus. Each lump sum proposal must include all labor, materials, and services to complete the project in strict accordance with the provided drawings and specifications. Bidders must examine the site and all existing conditions, including laws and regulations that may affect the work, and are encouraged to visit the grounds, utilities, and roads. Drawings are based on site surveys and inspections but bidders are responsible for fully informing themselves of physical conditions. Electronic copies of plans and specifications are available at no cost. Special provisions include tax exemption for the owner, compliance with State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates, requirement for Performance and Payment Bond, insurance requirements, specific construction start and completion dates, and liquidated damages for late completion. Bids must be sealed, properly addressed, and labeled as instructed. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled without written consent for sixty calendar days from the bid date.
