The Baer & Schooley Municipal Drain tender involves maintenance work scheduled for 2026. Each drain in the tender will be treated separately and billed with individual payment certificates. The maintenance work will include brushing small trees and shrubs along one side of the drain, channel clean-out with a low-flow channel along the entire length, and cleaning any culverts within the drain. Each drain has DFO and NPCA permits with specific instructions to be followed for each drain that will be included. All solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, will be available for download free of charge from the Town of Fort Erie website. To submit a bid, respondents must register as a plan taker for this specific bid opportunity. The awarded contractor must complete the town’s Contractor Safety Program prior to the commencement of any work. Electronic bid submissions only shall be received by the Town of Fort Erie’s web portal. Tenders must be accompanied by a Digital Agreement to Bond and a Digital Bid Bond in the amount of $21,600.00 payable to The Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie. The Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and the lowest or any submission will not necessarily be accepted.
