Project work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for site preparation and construction of the Luscious Sanders Recreation Center. Bids are to be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal prior to the stated deadline. Late bids will not be accepted. Question Submission Deadline May 15, 2026, 5:00pm The scope of the Project generally consists of the following major items, but are not limited to the following: - Site development and site utilities - Regarding the site per the permitted construction documents -Installation of a new recreation center building - All mechanical, plumbing and electrical associated with the building - Landscaping A new 20,087 gross square foot recreation center at the south parcel of Lithonia Park. The address is 6698 Parkway Road, Lithonia, GA. The existing site is wooded area and other existing site items, which will be removed or saved for reuse by DeKalb County. The Lucious Sanders Recreation Center is all one-level and will include a game room, multipurpose room (with two movable partition walls), lobby (with large clerestory), administrative areas, concessions, restrooms and dressing areas, arts and crafts room, dance and aerobics room, fitness area, gymnasium with athletic equipment, storage spaces, utility spaces, circulation spaces with lockers and cubbies, surface parking, landscaping, landscape and retaining walls, and a surface stormwater detention system and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. All of the project is to occur within the south parcel of Lithonia Park, or as shown in the contract documents, with exception to existing utility connections or sidewalk improvement.
