The project consists of constructing a new production well for the City of Nampa's potable water system with a target production rate of 1,800 gallons per minute, located on a City owned parcel at 17144 N Wylie Place. The production well is planned to a depth of 307 feet with 16-inch casing and screen. The work also includes conducting extended pump testing of the new well and collecting water quality samples. An additive bid item includes the construction of a 2-inch casing monitoring well to a depth of 716 feet targeting a production zone with an expected artesian pressure of 28 psi at the surface, for the purpose of testing water quality of a lower production zone to determine the feasibility of an additional production well in the future. The Owner reserves the right to award the Additive Bid Schedule in addition to the Base Bid at its sole discretion. Bids will be awarded based on the lowest responsive bidder, either including or excluding the Additive Bid Schedule as determined by the Owner. Bidders are instructed to submit SEALED BIDS ONLY.
