The appeal must be in writing and sent via overnight registered mail with all accompanying information relied upon for the appeal and an e-mail address from which questions and responses may be provided to: El Monte Union High School District 3537 Johnson Ave. El Monte, CA 91731 Sealed bids are invited for the Arroyo High School Paint Stabilization Project, under Bid No. 2025-26(B5), to be completed within 47 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must use District-provided forms and submit bids to the Office of the Purchasing Department. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B California contractor's license and ensure all subcontractors are appropriately licensed. Bids must strictly conform to Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities. Bidders are required to submit a list of designated subcontractors and provide a form of bidder's security (cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bond by a California admitted surety) not less than 10% of the maximum bid as a guarantee to enter the Contract and supply required bonds and documents. Payment and performance bonds, each equaling 100% of the Contract amount, are required from the awarded contractor. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage law, be registered and qualified for public work, and submit certified payroll records in accordance with the Labor Code. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 days after bid opening. Bidders must meet Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirements where applicable. Substitution requests must be submitted with the bid. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure timely delivery of bids.
