Site work and ADA compliance upgrade at Oakdale Junior High School. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided. The contract period is 77 calendar days. All contract documents must be thoroughly reviewed and bids must conform to those documents. Separate payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required from a California admitted surety. Prevailing wage and reporting requirements apply. Contractors and all subcontractors must be registered to perform public work. The awarded contractor must comply with all California Air Resources Board regulations regarding off-road diesel vehicles, including submitting valid and current Certificates of Reported Compliance for themselves and their listed subcontractors, or provide written certifications of exemption with supporting evidence. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise program requirements may also apply. Pre-qualification Requirements: Prospective bidders must submit prequalification documents by the specified deadline using forms provided by the District, including for listed mechanical, electrical, or plumbing subcontractors holding certain license classifications (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46). Bidders must possess a valid and appropriate California contractors license. Attendance at the entire mandatory pre-bid conference is required. All payroll records must be furnished to the Labor Commissioner electronically every 30 days while work is performed and after completion of work. Each bid must conform strictly to the contract documents and be received by the stated deadline. Bids will not be accepted from contractors or listed MEP subcontractors who are not prequalified where required.
