Demolition for a residential development in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
The Borough of Modena will receive bids from qualified demolition contractors for the Meredith Court Project. Bids must be submitted electronically and accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount, in acceptable forms such as Cash, Bid Bond, Bank Check, Cashier's Check, or Treasurer's Check, payable to the Borough of Modena. A bidder's personal check or non-certified corporate check is not acceptable. The surety firm must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All workmen performing work on this project shall be paid the general minimum Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. The Borough of Modena reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meet the requirements for which it was intended. The Borough Council reserves the right to insist or waive any technicalities and to consider the competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the Contract, and award accordingly.
