Fuel filtering, tank cleaning, and laboratory testing services for fifteen underground fuel storage tanks supporting emergency generators at the Long Beach VA Medical Center. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, and disposal services required to perform annual fuel filtration and cleaning to remove sediment, debris, and water from each underground storage tank. Work includes setting up filtration equipment at each tank location, filtering all fuel to ensure tanks are left clean and free of contaminants that could affect generator operation, and conducting laboratory testing to verify fuel quality and contaminant removal. Upon completion of testing, the contractor shall provide a written report documenting results for review and approval. All work shall be performed in coordination with VA Engineering staff and in compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and OSHA training requirements to ensure uninterrupted and reliable emergency power capability for the medical facility. Location: Long Beach VA Medical Center, 5901 E 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
