The work includes the construction of approximately 1 mile of untreated gravity flow water pipeline between the City's Water Treatment Plant on Monsen Way and Forest Road 450 in Jackson State Demonstration Forest. The project is divided into four segments (Segments 2 to 5) and includes construction of a new pump station and force main at Newman Reservoir. The pipeline route traverses both rural residential and steep, rugged, undeveloped terrain environments. Bidders must refer to Instructions to Bidders Paragraph 2.03 in the full bid package for a list of required content necessary for a submittal to be considered complete. The Notice Inviting Bids section specifies the date, time, and place submittals must be made. A California Class A contractor's license is required to bid. Joint ventures must have a joint venture license prior to award. Specialty work may require a specialty class license held by the Bidder or a listed subcontractor. Bidders and all listed Subcontractors must be currently registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public work per Labor Code Section 1725.5.
