Site work and new construction of a civil project in Irvona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The overall project includes the construction of a new Treatment Building which will have equipment including sequencing batch reactors, aerobic digesters, and all pumps, blowers, piping, wiring, and appurtenances necessary. Construction also includes rehabilitation of the existing Control Building and sewage pump stations, as well as new influent wet well, effluent aeration, and chemical storage facilities. Work also involves demolition of all decommissioned equipment and piping. through the detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The BCI Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. 7.02 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
