Sealed proposals are requested for professional design services for future new construction and renovation projects. The scope includes individual projects estimated to cost between $250,000 and $2,000,000. Professional design services required are primarily architectural, with secondary needs for mechanical, electrical, and structural services. Stand-alone mechanical/electrical engineering projects that do not require architectural services are also included. The source of funds for each project will be determined at the time of the project and may include any combination of Federal, State, or Local funds. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must be submitted using standard form F110-330, Statement of Qualification, with three copies required. The form can be found on the OFCC website. The submittal must clearly indicate that it is for "Professional Design Services future new construction and renovations" in the lower left-hand portion. Firms will be selected based on related and relevant experience, resource capability, current workload, and geographical location. During interviews, each consultant must present a project team, its qualifications, and the team's experience in Ohio Higher Education construction. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in rejection of the submittal. Responses will be evaluated and the most highly qualified firms will be interviewed. The contract for services will be negotiated based on demonstrated competence and qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance.
