The work includes installation of a new structural floor, terrazzo tile, and electrical work within the limits of the demolished moving walkway at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, 4200 Genesee St, Cheektowaga NY, 14225. The Contractor shall perform not less than 40% of the Work with its own forces. Bids are to be submitted either offline in an opaque sealed envelope marked as BID NO. E-632 or online per the process outlined on the NFTA Engineering Branch website. Bid security is required in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000. Bid security may be submitted electronically or offline as detailed in the instructions. The time of completion for the project is 91 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bids will be accepted either offline (paper) or online (electronic). Offline bids should be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope to the Engineering Branch on the 7th floor of the MTC. The lower left hand corner should be marked as follows: BID NO. E-632. Online bids should be submitted in accordance with the process outlined on the NFTA's Engineering Branch website. All bids will be opened and read aloud on at the Metropolitan Transportation Center ("MTC"), 1st Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Bids received after the date and time specified above for bid opening shall not be opened and/or considered for award.
