Work under this Contract generally consists of: Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform work in constructing new sports fields at Daffin Park. Work includes but is not limited to clearing, grading, irrigation, underdrains, turf establishment (sprigging), and site improvements. Note: Sanitary sewer and water utilities will be installed by others in Phase 1 of construction Question Deadline 05/15/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Questions must be submitted in writing via online. The answers to all questions received will be published in addenda issued by the Purchasing Department. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder The City of Savannah reserves the right at any time to modify, waive, or otherwise vary the terms and conditions of this Invitation to Bid including, but not limited to, the deadlines for the submission, the submission requirements, and the Scope of Work. The City further reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, or to withdraw the Invitation to bid at any time The City of Savannah reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding The City of Savannah has established a 20% DBE goal for this project of which at least half (10%) should be met by a Local DBE. A good faith effort must be made to achieve both goals
