Reference Number 0000421529 In general, the scope of work consists of preventative maintenance for traffic signal systems at Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) intersections within the City and County of Denver (CCD). The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, labor and services to perform work necessary to maintain in good workmanlike manner all the traffic signal identified by CCD. A traffic signal system includes, but is not limited to: traffic signal controller and cabinet and all appurtenant equipment, service cabinet, flashing beacons related to traffic signal operations (i.e. advanced warning beacons), pedestrian and vehicle signals, detector systems, video detection camera systems, CCTV camera systems, wireless vehicle detection system, automated signal performance measures, interconnect cable fiber optic, wireless communications equipment, traffic signal communications equipment, emergency vehicle preemption system, uninterrupted power supply system, intersection safety lighting, internally illuminated street name signs, and blank-out LED signs related to the traffic signal. This work does not include street lighting but does include intersection safety lighting, where the safety lighting is on the same pole as the traffic signal or wired to the same electrical service cabinet as the traffic signal. The Contractor shall provide a traffic signal technician with a minimum of three years' experience in traffic signal maintenance. CCD will supply all needed materials for proper Preventative Maintenance activities for listed traffic signal intersections. Note: All Malfunction Monitor Unit (MMU) will be tested and distributed to the Contractor for replacement by City and County of Denver Tech Shop.
