Sealed bids from a licensed and experienced Contractor capable of performing the work associated with completing the Confined Space Training Facility Project. Question Deadline 05/25/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Intent of Contract: It is the intent of the City of North Port (hereinafter referred to as City) to provide a confined space/trench prop adjacent existing Fire Training Tower, located at 6664 W. Price Boulevard within the City of North Port, FL. The proposed development will consist of the construction of a +/- 2,000 SF confined space training facility constructed of Owner-supplied connex boxes. Grading and final placement of the connex boxes, as well as decking and all other required materials will be the responsibility of the contractor. For final purposes of this Bid, the term "contractor" shall be defined as the company submitting the proposal and shall include all subsidiaries, affiliates, and subcontractors. As such, any requested documentation shall apply to all subsidiaries and affiliated companies as well as any subcontractors. If a company is using a subcontractor to either manufacture or deliver the product, the requested items (e.g., references, terminations, safety incidents) shall apply to the subcontractor as well. Bid forms shall set forth firm bid unit prices for furnishing all necessary materials and completing all work, including but not limited to labor, transportation, supervision, electricity, water, equipment, startup, testing, training, and all other work needed for a complete and operational system, as described in the Technical Specifications and/or shown on the Contract Drawings attached herewith. The City reserves the right to establish the exact limits of work in the field and to add or delete from the Project, as it deems necessary.
