Building 1197 Steam Plant. Scope of Work Shall Include: Demolition & Removal: Safe removal and disposal of the two existing boilers and any obsolete associated equipment. Installation of (2) New (6500 MBH) Boilers: Procurement and installation of two new boilers that meet current performance, safety, and energy efficiency standards. Associated Systems: Replacement or upgrade of related systems such as: Piping and valves Electrical connections and controls Venting and exhaust systems Water treatment and feed systems Testing & Commissioning: Full system testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure operational readiness. Documentation & Training: Provision of operation manuals, maintenance schedules, and training for facility personnel. Deliverable: A fully functional boiler system in Building 1197 that complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and performance requirements. The extent of work is to meet all related code and Air Force regulations for the boiler installations. If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, or any extension, the Contractor shall pay to the Government as liquidated damages, the amount is to be stated in the contract. If the Government terminates the Contractor's right to proceed, the resulting damage will consist of liquidated damages until such reasonable time as may be required for final completion of the work together with any increased costs occasioned the Government in completing the work. If the Government does not terminate the Contractor's right to proceed, the resulting damage will consist of liquidated damages until the work is completed or accepted. Project delivery method will be Design-Build (D-B) method where design and construction are performed under the same contract with one prime contractor. This contract statement of work (SOW) covers the Architect-Engineer (A-E) design, and Construction requirements. Contract Duration 180 Days.
