The work to be done consists of replacing existing guardrails including posts, railing, and end treatments with Caltrans Standard Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) at multiple locations throughout the County. Additional work includes installing concrete anchor blocks and small retaining walls. Work will occur on San Pablo Dam Road, Olympic Boulevard, Pleasant Hill Road, Taylor Boulevard, Danville Boulevard, Reliez Valley Road, and several roads in unincorporated Walnut Creek and Rodeo. The project has a duration of 60 working days. A minimum of 22% of the bid must be subcontracted. If the contract amount exceeds $1,000,000, the successful bidder must sign a project labor agreement (PLA). All bidder questions/inquiries received before 12:00 p.m. on 4th Jun 2026.
