Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lancaster, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as 2026 Microsurfacing. Contract documents, bid sheets, plans, and specifications must be obtained from the Fairfield County Engineer's Office for a non-refundable fee of $5.00. To be considered a responsive and responsible bidder, the bidder must be recorded on the plan holders list at the office. Each bidder is required to furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security in Bond form must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested. Each bidder must submit evidence of experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed no later than October 16, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors involved will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Bidders must comply with the Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates on this Public Improvement in Fairfield County, Ohio. The Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
