Work includes construction, testing, and start-up of a Raw Water Transmission Line from well sites D4R and D12, located on NC Highway 50 northwest of Holly Ridge in Onslow County, NC. Bids must be submitted as a complete contract in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project title and the bidder's information. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, or a bid bond equal to at least five percent of the total bid amount as a guarantee of contract execution and bond provision. Bids must be made on the blank forms provided. Compliance with contractor licensing laws and the furnishing of performance and payment bonds are required. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be examined online at listed locations or obtained as hard copies or electronically upon payment of non-refundable fees. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and hold bids for up to sixty days, with the option to extend by thirty days by mutual agreement. QA date - 5-22-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner and Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for the opening of bids will not be answered.
