HIB Reconstruct Perimeter Fence Phase 2 The project will consist of removal and replacement of approximately 16,220 feet of perimeter fence on the North, South, West, and East edges of the airfield. A wildlife deterrent skirt will be installed on the entirety of the new fence. Helical piers will be placed in wetland areas. Four gates will be replaced and one existing slide gate located within the work area will remain in place. The fence and gates will be installed in the same location as the original fence and the work areas will be restored to their original condition after fence installation. A berm will be constructed in two select areas as indicated in the project plans. Drainage culverts will be placed under the berm locations. The work will be completed in one phase of work.
