Project Number: 25069 The project proposes improvements to the existing school parking lot at Olympic View Elementary, including widening on-site drive aisles and revising the parking stall layout to enhance overall traffic flow. Sealed bids must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and addressed to North Thurston Public Schools, clearly marked as "Bid - Olympic View Elementary Parking Lot Improvements." Bids received after the specified date and time may not be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid, payable to North Thurston Public Schools. Bid documents may be obtained from American Reprographics Company for a deposit, with specific limits on the number of sets distributed to bona fide prime contractors and other bidders. Additional copies may be purchased. Deposits will be returned if documents are returned in good condition within 10 days following bid opening. All labor must be paid at least the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Department of Labor and Industries. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept bids considered in the best interest of the owner.
