Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work under this Contract consists of a 2" mill/overlay of multiple municipal roadways located throughout the City. In addition, the Contractor shall be expected to adjust affected traffic signal timing from "actuated" to "timed" control, adjust castings, replace and shim unsuitable substructure, reinstall traffic loops, reset and install new curbing, construct ADA compliant sidewalks, curb ramps, and driveways. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Chief Procurement Officer, at purchasing@newtonma.gov or via facsimile (617) 796-1227. The City will answer such requests if received by Friday, May 15, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
