Renovation of an educational facility in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work included under this project consists of replacement of existing food service equipment that has exceeded its service life with new equipment serving the same or similar function. Minor architectural renovations and engineering infrastructure upgrades are required as a result of these replacements. Work for the project shall be accomplished by separate prime contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the contract documents. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction to the satisfaction of the university, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. Bidders must register with PennBid to submit a proposal, obtain solicitation documents, receive updates, and submit confidential bids online. Questions must be submitted via the "Ask a Question" feature in PennBid. Responses which require changes to bidding documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders registered and having downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when changes or addenda have been posted.
