Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
Work included under this project consists of the fit-out of shell space within the Campus Success Center at Slippery Rock University into the new police services department, including all associated fire protection, mechanical, and electrical work. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction to the satisfaction of the University and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. Work for the project shall be accomplished by separate prime contractors according to Pennsylvania statute, with the Lead Prime Contractor being the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the contract documents.
