The proposed work consists of approximately 712 lineal feet of new 8" sewer main with manholes and laterals, 1056 lineal feet of 8" and 6" water line replacement with new valves, hydrants, and services, and 3875 square feet of sidewalk replacement. Bidders must furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid surety must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio as allowed by Treasury Circular 570. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Contractors and subcontractors will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration.
