Site work for a library in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a library.
The project involves the removal of an existing concrete stairway at the North end of Wilson Library on Western Washington University's Main Campus, and the construction of a new accessible ramp and stairway. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing stairway, construction of a new concrete ramp and stair, site grading, irrigation, and associated site work. Additive alternates include an eastward extension of the accessible ramp and sidewalk improvements at High Street Hall. Bidders are required to submit bids electronically through the Trimble Unity Construct online bidding portal. Steps for bidders include creating an account on the portal, reviewing bid package information, downloading documentation, sending questions to the bid manager, and submitting a bid. Only bids submitted through the Trimble Unity Construct's Bid Portal will be accepted. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids prior to the deadline to reduce the likelihood of technical issues. Plans and project manual may be viewed at Western Washington University Facilities Development Office by prior arrangement with the project manager.
