Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a 55,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Description Or Purpose Of Procurement: SCOPE OF WORK The selected vendor will provide labor, equipment, materials, any required permits and/or disposal fees to Mill and Repave approximately 55,000 square feet of pavement in area. The contractor will reclaim/grind existing asphalt and dispose it properly. The project will be done on weekends/nights. Mill 2 inches and as required in proximity to establish transitions for existing concrete sidewalks, slabs or concrete aprons not being reconstructed. Rebuild top of catch basins/structure with brick and block as necessary. Reset frames and grades to finish grade. Level and grade area to achieve proper pitch for drainage Apply a tack coat followed with a minimum 2” Top surface course SSC-9.5 compact and roll to a smooth finish. Vary top thickness of asphalt (again 2” min) to achieve proper drainage. Contractor will line stripe the parking lot according with existent layout. The awarded contractor while striping the lot must follow standards set by the DOT concerning space size and ADA compliance. Contractor to enter a Dig Safe (811) request, and allow the required time for markings. Contractor will obtain and submit all required permits. Project needs to reflect Prevailing wages. Contractor will provide police detail and reserve spots on the street to properly move heavy equipment in and out of the property during the project. After each day of work, the site will be clean and free of any objects, vehicles, etc., that might make parking difficult for visitors and employees. No equipment will be stored on-site. No additional costs will be approved for commuting, fuel or other incidental expenses. The contractor may use facility water and electricity.
