Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Quinte West, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work items include: traffic control, stream protection, dewatering, earth excavation for road and culvert systems, full and partial depth asphalt removal, steel beam guide rail removal, existing culvert system removal, concrete curb and gutter installation, catch basin installation, headwall installation (concrete, reinforcing steel, finishing), installation of Precast Concrete R.S.S. Wall Panels, installation of new Polymer Coated Structure Plate CSPA culverts, installation of Metal Traffic/Pedestrian Barriers topsoil and seeding, supply and placement of Type II Limestone Granular A & B for roadway construction and culvert replacement. Bidders are to be aware that Enbridge Gas will be on site prior to construction start for a Gas Main Relocation to allow for the culvert replacement.
