Site work and paving for a road / highway in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
NOTE ALL PROJECTS: Bidders MUST obtain documents from owner directly in order to bid. Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: (1) Milling of 7,128 square yards of bituminous pavement; (2) Placement of 855 tons of Superpave binder course, 19.0mm; (3) Placement of 702 tons of Superpave wearing course, 9.5mm. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must use the forms provided by the municipality. For third class cities, a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality, must accompany the bid; for other municipal types, this is at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of the contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
