Sealed bid proposals are requested for 2026-2028 emergency sewer repairs. Each bid must include the full name(s) of those making the bid, an affidavit of interested parties, and for corporations not chartered in Ohio, documentation authorizing business in Ohio. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check equal to ten percent of the bid, payable to the City of University Heights, or a Bid Guaranty or Bid Bond as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The City encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and Small Business Enterprises. The pricing for material and labor must be stated separately. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. If a bid is accepted, the check or bond will serve as a guarantee for contract performance, and may be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event of default.
