Renovation of an office development in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance will receive sealed bids for the roof renovation and envelope improvements at 1600 E Century Ave. #1 in Bismarck, ND. Bidders shall submit a Single Prime Bid for Construction. Mechanical and Electrical construction are incidental to the project. The General Contractor shall engage a Licensed Mechanical Contractor and a Licensed Electrical Contractor in the State of North Dakota to carry out the respective work as shown in the Construction Documents. All bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed opaque envelope with necessary information as required by the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, as well as a copy of the North Dakota Contractor’s License or certificate of renewal. Bid security must be in the form of a Bid Bond of no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount, including all add alternates, using Document AIA 310 Bid Bond. Contractors must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid and such license must have been in effect at least ten days prior to the date of bid opening. Bidders are encouraged, but not required, to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting. Drawings and Specifications are available as electronic PDFs, and contractors bear all reproduction costs. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance-Payment Bond. The Owner reserves the right to request additional information such as references, current workload, past experience, and current manpower, and also reserves the right to reject any or all offers.
