Renovation of a swimming pool in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The work consists of the replacement of the pool equipment at Wachter Wave Pool in Bismarck, North Dakota. General work includes the addition of a new door for the installation of new pool equipment. Pool mechanical work requires a delegated design for the replacement of the entire pool equipment system and pool heater, including controls. Electrical work involves disconnecting removed pool equipment, providing new power and service panels within the building, and powering new equipment. Bidders must include a Bidder’s Bond equal to five percent of the full bid amount, executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized in the state. If awarded, the principal must execute a contract and provide a Contractor’s Bond within ten days of notice. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids. No bid will be considered unless it fully complies with the bond and license requirements. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the bid opening. A pre-bid walk-through can be scheduled with the Engineer. Any and all interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written Addenda to the Specification which will be mailed or faxed to all perspective Bidders. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such Addendum or interpretation shall not relieve Bidder from any obligation under his Bid, as submitted. All Addenda so issued shall become a part of the Contract Documents.
