Site work for a water / sewer project in Laurel, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the rehabilitation and repainting of two elevated water storage tanks. The Indian Springs tank has a storage capacity of 75,000 gallons and the Service Road tank has a storage capacity of 200,000 gallons. The work will include exterior and interior sand blasting and repainting, sand containment, vent pipe replacement, manway replacement, installation of safety cable systems to ladders, installation of lockable ladder guard, extending overflow pipe to ground level with screen, lid, and splashpad, and miscellaneous metal repairs by epoxy and welding. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders that are included in the bidding documents.
